Description
A refreshing summer slushie made with juicy watermelon and fresh mint blended into a smooth, icy drink.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and chilled
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 10 fresh mint leaves, washed
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on watermelon sweetness)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare watermelon by cubing 4 cups of seedless melon and remove excess liquid.
- Place watermelon cubes, ice cubes, and mint leaves into a high-powered blender.
- Add fresh lime juice for tangy flavor.
- Add honey or agave syrup if needed and a pinch of salt to enhance flavors.
- Blend on high until smooth and icy, scraping blender sides if needed.
- Check texture; add water or lime juice if too thick, or more ice if too thin, then blend briefly again.
- Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with mint or watermelon slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fully ripe watermelon for best sweetness.
- Ensure watermelon and ice are very cold before blending.
- Don’t skip the lime juice for brightness.
- Adjust sweetness at the end, tasting before adding honey or syrup.
