Peach Sweet Tea blends ripe peach sweetness with robust black tea for a refreshing summer drink.
Ingredients

- 6 cups water, divided
- 4 black tea bags
- 3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh peach slices and mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat, add tea bags, steep 5-7 minutes.
- Blend sliced peaches, sugar, and 2 cups water until smooth. Strain to remove pulp.
- Discard tea bags. Stir peach syrup into tea. Add lemon juice.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate 2 hours to chill and meld flavors.
- Serve over ice, garnish with peach slices and mint if desired.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
- Can substitute peach nectar if peaches are unavailable.
- Do not over-steep tea to avoid bitterness.
